Top Shot: Reflecting On The Lake
Top Shot features the photo with the most votes from the previous day’s Daily Dozen. The Daily Dozen is 12 photos chosen by the Your Shot editors each day from thousands of recent uploads. Our community has the chance to vote for their favorite from the selection.
Your Shot member Brett Rylance descrbes his thoughts on this image. “A Burmese fisherman rests at the point of his boat on an Inle Lake morning in Myanmar. This image has reflections in a lot of contexts for me - the obvious one is the reflection in the water but I believe the fisherman in this posture is reflecting on his own life and the fact that the reflection in the water is a little blurred actually represents his distant memories as well.” Photograph by Brett Rylance
